Southern Style Coastal Home in Hampstead, NC

Wide front porches, master bedroom balconies, beadboard trim, hardwood flooring and open floor plans say southern style coastal home to me!  My friend Allison’s home has all these features and so much more!

Let’s take a tour of this beautiful southern coastal home as our first Lookie Loo feature!

Allison and her family live in a true southern style coastal home on a large corner lot in the amazing community of Pecan Grove in Hampstead, NC.  More about the great neighborhood later, first you’ve got to check out this gorgeous home!

Let’s start at the inviting wrap around porch. Complete with planked ceilings and ceiling fans (what southern home would be complete without porch fans!?) this wide porch is so inviting you’ll want to spend some time relaxing here for sure!

I am loving the soft green shaker style siding with the pretty blush colored door!

Let’s step inside.  This bright and airy entry way is so welcoming.  To the left is the large home office complete with glass doors and lots of windows.

 

Straight through the entryway will bring you to the large open living space with doors that lead out to the wrap around porch.  This space is large and airy but cozy at the same time and just look at those ceilings!! 

Open to the living area is the gorgeous kitchen.  Complete with brand new quartz countertops, planked ceiling, shutter style cabinets and soft green walls, this southern style kitchen is perfectly coastal!

 

Off the kitchen is a butlers pantry and mudroom/laundry room with access to the yard and two car garage.

 

 

 

Heading back to the entryway, we find a wooden staircase leading to the upstairs where there are five bedrooms each with bathroom access.

The master bedroom is a large 20′ x 15′, and has a private master bath with dual sinks and large walk in shower.  The best part of this room (in my opinion) is the balcony!  I would probably spend the majority of my time on that balcony if I lived there!

Back outdoors you can admire the amazing landscaping and large corner lot.  This home is a short walk from Pecan Grove’s neighborhood clubhouse, tennis courts, fitness center, play ground, billiards room and swimming pool.  This community also has intracoastal waterway access!
